Training workshops to Lahore police for the prevention of Child Abuse
A 4 day workshop was conducted at Police Lines, Lahore by the officers of Child Protection and welfare bureau, Lahore.
Sarah Ahmad, Chairperson, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Punjab, Inam Waheed, DIG (Investigation), Lahore and Faiz Naeem Warriach, Director General, Child Protection & Welfare Bureau, Punjab concluded the last day of the training workshop by distributing certificates among the master trainers and trainees.
Sarah Ahmad, Chairperson while addressing to the participants said “This is first time ever that Child Protection Bureau & Punjab Police are working together for prevention of child abuse in Punjab and we will make Punjab free from child abuse according to the vision of the Chief Minister, Punjab. I want to create awareness about our child rescue helpline number 1121 to help the victims. I am thankful to all police officers who enthusiastically participated in the training workshop and do hope they will use skills learned during this workshop for betterment of people in their respective police stations and I am also thankful to CCPO, Lahore who hosted this workshop.” She also added that she was proud of her officers Muhammad Amin, Rizwan Haider, Miss Saba, Ehtesham mehmood, Khadija Ilyas & Zahra Omer for conducting this training in a very professional manner.
